5th Destination

Chris had the carmera the whole time we were at Danny and Danielle's house so I didn't get hardly any pictures, but that little Rosabelle is so darn cute and it really made me miss that new born stage.

Kahner had so much fun in Danny's studio! And may I say thanks to DaNae, cause he now keeps asking for a drum set!! Kahner loved little Ella. If only we was like that with his own sister the world be be a better place.! It was so nice seeing everyone. And seeing that you can live in L. A. and have an awesome back yard makes it so much easier to move down that way. But of course we probably won't be that lucky.

4th destination

Now this was one long day for us, but we sure had a blast!! Both of them loved meeting Mickey!But the rides Kahner like the most were Splash Mountain, Space Mountain and he did like Nemo. Kailiyah loved the little rides and she loved the parade. We were there all day and night and the only bad part of the day was that I lost my phone. :(

3rd Destination

San Clemente, California!!! Best place on earth! This is where Chris was raised and now I know why he wants to move back so bad. It's a small little surf town with the best sunset ever. I hope we'll be on the road real soon for a big move!

Vegas Baby!!

Our first destination on our 10 day trip was in Vegas. We only had two days there, but we got to do so much. We took the kids out on the lake, saw Ben, DaNae, Ella, Aunt Tlesa and her fam, went to a wedding and also took the kids to Circus Circus!!

Hair hair hair!!

Chis thinks his hair styles for Kiliyah are better than mine!! I happen to think that she likes mine better than trying to be just daddy and Kahner!!lol

The new way of trying to curl her hair so that I don't burn her anymore!! If she'll just keep them in I think she would agree..!!

Birthday Fun

Kailiyah went to her first Birthday Party for her little friend Hannah the other day and they had so much fun! Always tryin to do everything their bothers so!!

T-ball is the funniest!!

Oh my gosh if you ever just need to smile and laugh go to a t-ball game!! It is so funny seeing all the little kids chasing after the ball they just hit, or looking through their glove, or in Kahner's case standing at first base ready to run and he has his hand down is pants!! It is comedy!! He likes t-ball but it's a little boring for him. He's used to all the dare devil things like going down the half pipe and riding on a skate board really fast. But we have so much fun watching them chase their own shadows!!

My Surf Girl

We're gona have a little surfer girl!! All she wanted to do at the pool was stand up on the body board and get pushed around by her daddy. I think we might just be set for the future!!Kahner will be a pro skater and she be our pro surfer!

Memorial Day 10k!!

Today was such a fun, sad, and emotional day for me. I decided a couple months ago that I was going to run a 10k on Memorial Day in memory of my dad. My good friend Jenn had the idea that it since the race was being ran for my dad and since his birthday is only in a couple days we should celebrate after the race and go out and have a birthday cake for him. It was such a kind thought and I'm sure dad loved watching me finish this and of course eating a great cake!!

Daddy's Hands!!

What a crazy week it has been for us here in Colorado. On Thursday I got the kids in the car to go to a friends and babysit. On the way there the sky turned totally BLACK and the clouds started twirling. I had no idea what was about to happen. Golf ball size hail started beating down on the car and one of the cars infornt of me totally flipped. By this time I was already stopped on the side of the road along with most of the other cars. There was a truck pulling a horse trailer parked on the side next to us and it had been flipped over and all the horses escaped. Kahner and I were both screaming. It was so sad especially when Kahner started yelling" somebody please help us." I had no idea what to do and I truly thought we were all about to die. Since the whole sky was black and twirling I had no idea we were in the middle of a tornado. It passed with in about 5 minutes and hit the next little town by house and completely turned it upside down. Chris has been at work ever since trying to get power back on to the community. When I sat back and saw all the other cars that had stop sighns flying through the car windows I knew my Dad was watching us. And after Kahner yelled contiually asking someone to help us I told him Grandpa Justin is helping us right now bud and he won't let anything happen. What a blessing it was that nothing major happened. Now I just have to see if the insurance will pay for the dents that the hail made. Other than that we are all ok. Thanks Dad I love you..

My first Race!! And I finished!!!

Well my first 5k race was pretty much a practice race for my 10k in 3weeks. I'm so glad that I did the practice race because I thought oh no prob,,, ok i've been running but it's all a straight away at the race it was up hill almost the whole time and it kicked my butt. I did run the whole race and finish at a little over 30 mins. Now I need to map a new run so that I can be more prepared for the 10. And I have to say DaNae I don't know how you can run a half marathon. CRAZY!lol

The Blonde BombShell!!

I told myself that when I lost enough weight I would go out and do something just for me.. And this is what I did.. I'm now blonde..!! I've done the dark thing since I was in high school and wanted something way different! I actually really love it. Well everything but the cost to get it done!lol I've never even thought about spending that much on my hair and to tell ya the truth if I even knew it was going to be that much I would have never done it. I guess it's just a good thing I didn't know cause I love it!! What's funny is that it took 5 hours to get it done and Chris had me meet him and the kids at the park afterwards to see it and Kahner was like 15 feet away from me and he didn't know who I was. When I picked Kailiyah up she looked at me like lady who are you and what are you doing picking me up?? It was too funny!

Boo boo's on my Princess Liyah

Today was a very sad day for Kailiyah. She was walking outside and made a big fall on the cement. Her nose was bleeding pretty bad and she cut her top lip which was also bleeding. There was so much blood coming out and it was just so sad. Here is a picture of her trying not touch her lip and being totally miserable. Poor baby.

Old Mother Hubard!!

Kahner had his pre-school spring program the other day and he did such a good job! Each kid had to stand upfront of the church and and recite a nursery rhyme along with many songs. Kahner's rhyme was Old Mother Hubbard and I can't believe how well he did. Most of the kids were really shy and you couldn't really hear them. I just figured Kahner would be the same way, but nope. He was great!! The whole church could hear him and understand him!! Way to go Kahner. Here are some pictures of Kahner and his class.

Sushi Date NIght!

OMG... It has been such a long time since we've had a nice date night w/ out the kids!.. I've only had sushi once so I thought it would be fun trying it again. We had so much fun! We ordered like 5 different types of sushi rolls and couldn't get enough! I think we have found our new date night place!

Summer Time is Here!!

So I thought since we're always at the skatepark that we should try something different. Kahner loved going down the slides. And Kailiyah just wanted to run everywhere. I can't believe how much she loved it out there. I made sure Chris stayed right with her cause I'm deathly affaid of water due to the fact that my brothers always tried drowending me when I was little!!!

IT's MoHaWk SeAsOn

This is a day in History for Chris. Since probably 12 years old he's had the exact same hair cut that you all have seen. This is the first time he's done something else! Congrats Chris for taking that big step in the right direction! I really don't like shaving Kahner's hair, I like to see some of the curls, but he gets so hot in his skateboard helmet w/ a head full so this is the best and cutiest way for us to do it.Plus ya see his ears a whole lot better now and he looks more and more like my dad and Grandpa!

One kid, two kid, three kid NO WAY!!

I feel so very lucky that one child likes to sit and read all nice and the other likes to destroy his room. I now know that I was very blessed by having a girl not another boy!! And that's why there will be no chance of having any more. I would most likely have another boy and my house would always be a mess!

We've got another Mr. Football in the family

Looks like MR. Football and the #27 runs in the family! This title and # 27 goes back along way and Kahner says he's ready for the challenge! He's got alot to live up to but with the way our family has played sports, I think he'll be just fine!
